Similarly this issues happens in windows version, I use parallels and windows 10, This seems to have the same problem, with a similar situation causing the crash. The console warning tells me Kernel panic or window server crash.
The version I use in Windows 10 on a PC also crashes (not as much) during the operations I mentioned above.
I use T-splines with Rhino 5 and it seems far better on a PC machine, but Rhino 6 (without t-splines) also crashes when points are on and orbit and pan at a certain zoom level (close ups).
Hard to say what is happening, I have swapped the RAM slots on my MAC and reduced the crash, also tested with the original RAM from factory and the problem remains.
The worst of this is in Parallels environment, as to be expected.
Could there be a solution from your end possible?

I’ve noticed after updating to the latest Rhino for Mac (6.20.19295.15382, 2019-10-22) that there sometimes seems to be a bug when exiting Rhino/Grasshopper with multiple open documents.
In the documented case above, I had two Rhino documents and two Grasshopper sessions open. When I tried to quit (CMD + Q) the Grasshopper save dialogue repeatedly kept popping up. I must have pressed the Close button at least 20 times, before it finally stopped.
Furthermore, some components seem to be missing the “live editing” feature of component inputs of previous version?
If I’m not mistaken, we used to be able to change, for instance a vector input, by right-clicking and live editing default vector coordinates (inside a small white textfield).
Now, certain components go straight to setting the input from Rhino (i.e. t input of Move component), or separate dialogue pops up in sometimes weird locations, while the right-click menu closes. Didn’t the dialogue previously stick to the right-click menu?
Any ideas?

Hello, I’ve been having trouble with clipping planes since I updated to Rhino 6 for Mac (after using Rhino 5), and haven’t been able to find a similar discussion on the forum.
When I use a clipping plane, I am no longer able to see objects in elevation that should be visible in the clipping plane’s view. This is for both the model space and layouts. (The perspective view is the only one where this isn’t the case.) Instead I can only see what the clipping plane actually cuts. For example, if I cut through the opening of a door, I can’t see the wall in elevation behind the opening anymore.
However, if I use the make2d command, or export my layout as a pdf, then those lines will appear. But I do of course need to be able to see those lines while I’m working and using clipping planes.
Has anyone else come across this problem? Or have any suggestions for why it might be happening? I never came across this issue in Rhino 5 for mac, but have had it with every drawing I’ve created so far with Rhino 6 for mac.
I’ve included images below of the layout view compared to the exported pdf view. (clipping plane in red)
