Osnap problem with rhino for mac eval: no z axis

I am very new to rhino and on the trial version i am attempting to use osnap to snap two points together. however I am unable to snap along the x,y and the z at the same time. if i want to stack two cubes, i have to first move in the xy, snap to a point, and then separate command to move vertically.

is there a method i’m missing or an object snap type i should be using besides ‘end’? i know its a small problem but its taking more time than it should.

Organize tool icons in left sidebar

Defect? - Gumball snapped to geometry, but Move using another point

Rhino5 on Mac 10.14.6 cannot see lines or other objects that are created

I can create 3d objects in the same space and they are visible.

I’ve zoomed Extents>>All, then performed a Cmd-A to select all object and the objects don’t seem to exist

Am I missing something obvious ?

Project Point Grid onto Surface

Make layers into alphabetical order

UI in Rhino 6 super laggy?

Is there a way to (quickly) offset 4 edges of a surface similar to formZ and/or sketchup?

What is the best way to do this in Rhino? I’ve been playing with the various Offset tools and I can’t find anything that is achieving my goal here. I have found that I can individually select a face and move it in 1.5", but it’s not ideal to select a face, Gumball input, spin, select a face, input, spin…

Any thoughts on this would be very helpful :slight_smile:

Wish: set Antialiasing in ViewCaptureToFile

Scale part of an object
